Our guides will teach basic horsemanship skills and ask questions to determine the ability level of the rider and personally match you with your horse.
Learn your horses name and make sure to give it a friendly pat every now and again for reassertion.
Horse are social animals and prefer to stick together. For the duration of the ride, please do not allow large gaps and keep your horse in the single file line. Always stay with the group.
When riding, always be alert and attentive to your horse.
Sudden movements or noises may startle your horse, so never let go of the reigns and always pay attention. They are animals, not machines and require human interaction to perform.
Horses are sensitive animals. Please don’t be loud or boisterous.
Please wear comfortable clothes for your ride. Best options are sturdy, closed toe shoes and pants. Please avoid wearing just bathing suits and flip flops.
